9″ deep size fit snugly, so they are smooth under sheets. Also very soft, breathable all cotton, and price better– (unlike the super deep covers I previously bought at department store which all say fit up to 16″ thick mattress and fit ridiculously loose and sloppy on a normal mattress)

I have a New Murphy type bed and the way the mattress cover is to be put on the mattress it does not work for me
I have just put it over the top of the mattress cover, I do believe I get some protection..
